Thank you for all of your prayers and concerns. As you have seen, Hurricane Helene dropped up to 30 inches of rain in Northeast TN and Western NC. Many towns in these areas have been destroyed, including roads. At least 150 people have lost their lives, and many are still missing. Pigeon Forge does not have damage, but we are asking you all to join us in prayer for our neighbors on the other side of the mountain. 1.5 million people are still without power but many more are without food and supplies.
I returned from Cape Town, South Africa mid September. During my two-week visit, God opened many doors. The trip was both fruitful and productive. I was able to teach an Exchanged Life seminar in a township called Khayelitsha. One pastor commented, “Khayelitsha, will never be the same. We used to give those with anxiety pills, but now we can give them Christ!” The pastor’s wife, who hosted the seminar said, “I feel like a new baby, like I have been born-again, again.” This seminar was made possible by the follow-up from our sister ministry, Curare, founded by Nelhsie de Bruto. Please continue praying for South Africa and future trips and partnerships in 2025.
Dr. John returned from the IFOC Chaplains Conference in Texas. He and Linda were able to attend the seminar, and God opened doors for them to share Exchanged Life and how GFI can be an asset to chaplains moving forward. We are also excited to share that our podcast, Glimpses of Grace, surpassed 10,000 plays/downloads. Thank you to everyone who has listened and shared. If you have not listened, you can get access from our website: https://gracefellowshipinternational.com/podcast/.
As we gear up for the Fall, Dr. John and I will be teaching an Intro to Exchanged Life Seminar on Saturday, November 2nd. This half-day seminar will be located at Sevierville Golf Club from 8:30 AM to noon. The cost is $25, and lunch can be purchased after the event for those wishing to continue fellowshipping. Our final workshop for 2024 will be Monday, November 4th, through Thursday, November 7th, from 8:45 – 5 PM. Information and registration can be found on our website: https://gracefellowshipinternational.com/events/.
Again, we are so thankful for our support team! Together, we are guiding people into a complete and victorious identity in Christ. Please follow us on social media to stay updated with GFI. You can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and X.
