Mark ministered June 2-6 as the featured speaker at a youth camp for two Knoxville area churches. We give thanks that God used his messages to impact the lives of these young people.
This month we will welcome Liz Swanson to serve as GFI Office Administrator! (She and her husband serve as volunteers at the church where Carrie McKeehan is on staff.) We are encouraged with God’s guidance and provision and pray that Liz’s onboarding process goes well.
We also congratulate Donna Kruse (in Virginia) for completing her Exchanged Life Counselor certification. We anticipate her joining our Counseling Guide team.
On May 19th we had a guest speaker in our weekly online Bible study—my father! I invited him to share his personal testimony, including how he and my stepmother befriended Chuck and Sue Solomon in the 1980s. The recording is on our video channel: vimeo.com/channels/1621148 .
John Best’s book, The Great News of Grace, was just published as an e-book on amazon.com. Also, Carrie McKeehan’s book, Battle Cry, is being formatted for publication.
Our sister ministry in South Africa, Curare, continues to report about how God is working in the lives of individuals and churches there. They took a few minutes of video during a training meeting where local pastors spoke on topics relevant to African culture. See curarecc.org/ Updates.
We would appreciate prayer for ministry events next month. Mark has been invited to do a seminar in Birmingham, Alabama on July 12th, and our workshop in Pigeon Forge is scheduled for July 28-31.
Mark and I, and our Guides, continue to be busy with counseling and life coaching in person, by phone and by Zoom calls. Let’s continue to pray for God to use His living Word to bring peace, healing, and freedom for those contacting us for Christ centered counseling.
We are grateful for faithful supporters. Have a refreshing, and victorious summer in God’s grace.
