Exchanged Life Conference
On February 1, 1970, Charles and Sue Solomon opened the first office of Grace Fellowship International. In the following years the ministry planted branch offices in Denver, Colorado; Atlanta, Georgia; Indianapolis, Indiana; Springfield Missouri and Tampa, Florida. These became separate ministries in 1986 forming the Association of Exchanged Life Ministries (now known as Network 220). In November, GFI hosted an anniversary banquet. We give thanks for God’s Faithful Intervention! Video testimonies and banquet recordings are on the 50th anniversary page.
“Dr. Solomon and the ministry of Grace Fellowship, in sharing the life-changing principles of the believer’s identification with Christ, has had a profound impact on the lives of many Christians here in Atlanta. My endorsement and support is evidenced by our scheduling a five day workshop at our church.”
– Dr. Charles Stanley, Founder of In Touch Ministries (www.intouch.org) & Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta (www.fba.org).
“The insights gained at the Grace Fellowship conference opened me to a greater understanding of spiritual truth and God’s design for a walk with Him in Christ. These concepts of Christ as Life are revolutionary to my spiritual walk, and I am convinced that a conference like this is of immense value not only to me, but for pastors who can then transfer these concepts to others in their congregations. I have attended a lot of seminars, but this one is really unique.”
– Dr. Ken Boa, Reflections Ministries, www.KenBoa.org
“As a young man in Argentina, I was zealous for the Lord and His work. My friends and I spent nights in fasting and prayer and preached on street corners every chance we got. Yet few people responded to our message and we became tired and discouraged. Some of my friends dropped out of our all night prayer meetings. Others stopped going to church altogether. I hung in there–barely, but we all shared a sense of despair. “We’ve read the Bible, prayed all night and witnessed for Christ, but we still can’t say ‘no’ to certain temptations. Either the Gospel doesn’t work, or I’m such a sinner that God can’t help me.” With that kind of thinking, how could I have gone on to serve the Lord with joy and excitement as I have done the past few decades? It is only because, God, in His grace, heard my cry and showed me the very truths that Dr. Charles Solomon presents in his book, Handbook to Happiness. As Dr. Solomon so clearly presents, I first had to come to the very end of myself.”
– Luis Palau, International Evangelist & Founder of the Luis Palau Association
“What first drew me to Dr. Solomon’s ‘counseling ministry’ was that his philosophy was based on his theology! His contention is that many psychological problems are rooted in spiritual problems that can be resolved by a faith union with Christ crucified, risen, and active in the believer’s life.
Multitudes of people are being helped and healed by Spirituotherapy. Therefore, I commend this approach to counseling; it is biblical, balanced and beneficial.”
