[av_textblock size=” font_color=” color=” av-medium-font-size=” av-small-font-size=” av-mini-font-size=” av_uid=’av-ko90zfgc’ custom_class=” admin_preview_bg=”] In recent months we have been blessed by two cases of dramatic transformational change in counselees via zoom sessions with a co-counselor. I have noticed a pattern in these cases:

  • Desperation (They were at the end of themselves.)
  • Revelation (They plunged into the reading and videos.)
  • Appropriation (They entered into identification by faith.)
  • Transformation (They testified of a ripple effect of change from the inside out!)

Hallelujah! Yet ongoing support, counsel, and grace discipleship are still important in both cases.

Two of Dr. John Bests’ books are now available as Kindle ebooks on Amazon.com: Exchanged Lives! Stories by People in Deep Ruts and Darkness and the Sonrise God Brought to Them, and When is Christ Being Seen in Us? We are working on adding his full set of books, followed by new paperback editions.

Hope for the Heart has produced a new 11 session Lifeline Caregiver Training Course. It is excellent foundational instruction for lay caregiving/ counseling. John has acquired the Facilitator Dashboard license to use the videos to train others, so an online edition of this training is scheduled for Monday evenings June 7-August 16. For details and registration, see GFI’s event’s calendar or call us.

Four Luther Rice College & Seminary students finished their practicum with us last month. We are grateful for this networking relationship and pray God”s blessing on Grady, Sarah, Loree and Stephanie and they complete their Masters in Biblical Counseling degree and minister to those in need.

GFI’s May webinar: On Wednesday, 7:00 PM (EDT) May 12, our friend Dr. Lewis Gregory will speak on “Living from a New Source.” He is Founder and Director of Source Ministries and author of The New You. For etails and registration see the Calendar of Events section.

Cathy Solomon had surgery on April 26th and they discovered two screws used to repair her leg last August had broken, causing her much pain. After a few days of addressing her pain and blood pressure issues, she improved and, thankfully, is now back home. Prayers are appreciated for her.

Thank you for praying for Grace Fellowship International’s ministry of counseling, education, equipping and training.[/av_textblock]
