Here we are in 2023! I’m so glad that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Heb. 13:8). As we face this new year, we need confidence and courage as we abide in Christ.

T Austin-Sparks noted, “Strength was inclined to come out of Zion, from the sanctuary. There the glory of the Lord was revealed: ‘O Thou, Who dwells between the cherubim, shine forth!’ [Psalm 80:1]. But now it is as from within the spirit of His own redeemed, whom He hath chosen for His habitation, would God reveal Himself; and strength, authority, and power are within the believing heart, as we open it on the heavenward side to Him Whom our soul loves. The resources of heaven wait at your door, believing child of God!” Amen.

Looking back with thanksgiving

Looking Ahead

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (Ephesians 3:20).

That’s our prayer for this new year! We are expecting God to do great things. We praise God for the Guides that we hired to expand our reach. These Guides, along with Dr. Woodward will continue counseling people into victorious identity. We will continue training churches, coaching pastors, and ministry leaders to learn about GFI and Exchange Life counseling. Mark has met with the president of Carson Newman College, and we are praying for a future partnership with this university. We have been so blessed with our partnership with Luther Rice College and Seminary!

We hope to release some new materials this year that will seek to help people spiritually, emotionally, and physically. We are working on some things to help people learn how to overcome the effects of the self-life as it pertains to physical health. We also want to create some materials for small groups and an exchanged life study for homeschools.

GFI has partnered with Renew Clinic, which is a Christian-based addiction center in Knoxville, TN. Mark will be coaching all the coaches within that ministry on Exchanged Life principles. We are also partnering with like-minded churches to host seminars and Exchanged Life events in 2023.

One of our dreams is to create an Exchanged Life counseling platform in the new upcoming Metaverse. In the future, we hope people can use VR in counseling sessions.

Another goal is updating our media. This year we hope to begin livestreaming our events. With recently provided cameras we will begin making new videos to teach the principles of the Exchanged Life.

We are excited to launch a new podcast soon. Mark and John will help guide people through the practical application of Exchanged Life. This podcast will be available on GFI’s website as well as on Apple, Spotify, and wherever you listen to podcasts. We also are developing an app to equip people to use our diagrams when discipling others.

As you can see, God is moving, and we are so thankful for all the doors He is opening! We invite you to partner with us in prayer and financial support. Our ministry is primarily funded through donations from people who believe in the vital importance of Christ-centered, grace-oriented discipling, counseling, and training. Generous giving has funded a scholarship program for those who need help but cannot afford it. We give thanks for God’s faithful provision through His people!

Happy and fruitful new year from the staff of Grace Fellowship International.
-Mark McKeehan, John Woodward, Cathy Solomon, & John Norman
