August 2024 Update: Seminar and Workshop News

Can you believe it, summer is almost over. The weather may be changing but there is one thing that always lasts and that is Jesus! Praise the Lord for the truths contained in the passage above. Our circumstances are changing, but our Savior, Lord, and Life never changes. He is always good, powerful, and in control!

We were so blessed to partner with NorthStar Church in Knoxville, TN. They hosted our “Finding Peace” seminar on Saturday, August 3rd. We had 34 participants, and we loved hearing comments like, “Today was so helpful to me. I’m so thankful to be able to be here. Thank you.” Another lady wrote, “The content and presentation were wonderful. I only wish I would have heard this years ago. Thank you!” We followed the seminar with our Exchanged Life Workshop. During the week of August 5th-8th, 12 participants learned how to take a history and learn someone’s presenting problem. They also learned how to use the wheel and line diagram. One participant wrote, “Thank you! You get an A+ from me!” Another person wrote, “I learned the problem is not the circumstance but our reaction to the circumstances.” It was a powerful week indeed!

Please continue to pray for GFI. God is opening new doors, and we are asking for Holy Spirit’s discernment to know which ones we need to pursue.  Please also pray for me as I travel to Lakeland, FL on 8/16-8/21. I will be ministering at Parkway Baptist Church and speaking to a Christian School on identity. Then I’m scheduled to teach at a Men’s Retreat on 8/22-8/24 in Johnson City, TN. Finally, I will be returning to Cape Town, South Africa on 9/2-9/15 for some strategic teaching and equipping there.
